Bumpin to "Bars of Death" by Ya Boy which was posted on the homepage RhoNectar. Boy is bad I tell you!
On another note, I watch the news daily and some of the stuff that is going on in the world is just insane. We got kids in high school who think its funny to base pranks off of bomb threats. I mean did they ever pay attention to what happened in the past?! But then again they were probably too young or don't pay attention to the world around them. Which is sad because I believe in order to get a full understanding of life and all it has to offer, one must see the world through another's eyes and realize that there is much more than what you see everyday, outside your door or window. Now, this young man faces a possibility of serving up to 6 years in prison! 6 years! Is this wrong or right? Is this punishment too harsh? That is one of the topics in the news today. Should this young man be able to walk away from this situation with a slap on the wrist or should he be prosecuted like any other person. I know that if the scenario had happened in the airport instead of a high school. There would be no questions about it. He would have no way of avoiding a possible jail sentence. Where is the common sense in the young minds of the younger generation?
Another sad event was also broadcasted on the news this morning. The first San Diego death as a result of the H1N1 virus a.k.a. Swine Flu was recorded. The victim? A young woman 20 years young, who probably had a lot of promise in life to fulfill. Went to sleep healthy, woke up ill and died in such a short amount of time, in a span of 3 days I believe?
Bottom line: Life is too short. Don't waste away life with pointless efforts that will get you no where. Strive to make a change, put your mind to it, and accomplishment and success will soon rendezvous with you.
And I don't mean its not okay to let loose, I just mean don't lose focus.

Tough Economy
So the days go by and yet I find myself amongst an ocean of people who find themselves in the same situation as I. College Degree and JOBLESS. And after 5 months of trying to find a job and beating myself up over it, I've decided to take it as it comes. All I can do is continue to put myself out there and take it oNe interview at a time. And as I continue to compete with those with the same qualifications as I, as well as those who've been laid off and are over qualified for our entry-level positions, all I can blame is the economy. Question: What has this economy come to? Answer: Broke!
Tired of living broke, tired of going to gas station for a quarter tank of gas because I have no money. Tired of the McDonalds dollar menu and Taco Bell's 89 cent cheesy double beef burrito. Tired of this job search, and tired of being relentless because of it. Tired of waiting for things to come around. I need a job!
